We’ve experienced much and those experiences – as painful as they may be, have value outside of the growth they may have brought us during or after they occurred. That value, of course, is to others. Telling our stories helps others relate and hopefully change a habit or a practice BEFORE having to experience similar hurt or loss. Our stories, even the simple/small ones, can and often do make a difference in the lives of others.
So it goes with safety as well, Talk-About-It! Tell our stories and share the accidents, incidents, and injured that were small, but could have been worse and then as importantly, share those near misses where we triggered and prevented something from happening at all. THAT’S WHAT SAFETY IS ALL ABOUT! Recognizing, Understanding, and Acting BEFORE and incident/injury.
Let’s make safety intentional today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
