This quote (true author unknown) says a lot; however, it misses one important thing – we won’t have to stand alone for long. When we’re willing to take a stand, single ourselves out for a cause or commitment, others take notice and will join us if/when the cause is righteous or just. Remember, we are called to NOT conform to this world. It’s important we all commit to being courageous enough to say things like stop, wait, pause, change, and no.
We’re called to the same or similar work with safety as well. If we see something – we should say something and that enables us to not only work safe ourselves, but it also helps us help others. A win-win for sure.
