We’re better safe than sorry, right? Sometimes what we do for safety is a little more difficult, a little more time consuming, and/or perhaps a little more costly; but, it’s still the right thing to do. We don’t want damaged equipment, downtime, extra work, or pain and discomfort either. The fact is, incidents and injuries “cost” us a whole lot more than doing the task safely does. Let’s remember, “IF IT’S WORTH DOING – IT’S WORTH DOING SAFE!”; at least that’s what I always say.
Our safety is only as good as we make it! If we let our guards down or fail to keep our eyes and minds on task – people get hurt!
