I borrowed this picture from the central safety minutes email JM sent out a few weeks ago. It reminds me of the importance surrounding using our eyes and minds to stay aware. We’ve said it before that KNOWING IS NOT ENOUGH – IT REQUIRES ACTION TO PREVENT INJURY! We can’t talk about it enough, our safety excellence requires 100% of our team 100% of the time. The hands in the picture above depict “team” or “together” and that’s a perfect reminder for who we are.
Be Aware – of our surroundings, hazards, changing situations, and moving parts.
Be Safe – in everything we do on purpose. By choice and not by chance.
