2023 May-June Edition

In this edition of the Labor Ledger, we highlight two businesses–construction firm Robins & Morton and SANS Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative–that have earned recognition from the NCDOL for their efforts to make the workplace a safe and healthy place for their employees.

Also featured is a contribution by Starsky Martin, safety education specialist with the OSH Division’s Education, Training and Technical Assistance bureau, that highlights the recent training sessions conducted during the Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction week of May 1-5.

And don’t forget our columns “Retaliatory Rights,” “Deadly Mistakes,” “Workplace Worries” written by contributors Harriet Hopkins, Judyth Forte and Kisha Scotton.
