Some scary information that was not in either of the articles you sent. Saliva drug screens will not pick up synthetic opiates, Oxycontin, Percocet, Percodan. There is a pain doctor in Casper WY that actually tells his patients that they can take Oxycontin, and it will not be pick up on a normal drug screen. For me that was terrifying information. When I checked with our labs, I was told that it was true, if they are using saliva tests 98% will not pick up the drug until 3,000 units. That is the equivalent of approximately 4 times the prescribed use. The individual is still impaired, but it does not pick it up unless you have a test that will pick it up at 300 units. This might be really good information to pass on to people to let them know they need to check the test they are using. Check with your labs.

Thanks for the share K!
