This is probably one of my favorite things to write about. In fact, it’s a topic most everyone can relate to. We’re all about family here and that single commonality enables us to trust each other to do the right thing when it relates to a safe action or safety in general. A family is formed and strengthened through common interests, goals, struggles, and successes. In my opinion, that’s the reason this word is so important to us here at work as well as at home. As you know, we’re all family in that sense and our efforts to work safe “because our families are counting on us” means so much more because of it. We’re family because we have common interests, goals, we struggle together to find solutions, we may even get mad at each other every now and again, and lastly, we succeed together.
All of this can be summed up by saying and believing one of my favorite phrases, “WE CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER.” That’s what sets us apart from the norm.
Let’s be busy about safety today, because as we all know, we’re counting on each other for just that. Thanks in advance for every safe act.
