As safety champions we should be on the look-out for others in need. Simply put, it’s up to all of us to help each other. Some difficulties are harder to recognize than others; however, we should be taking the time necessary to observe, identify, and assist. Getting to know people is the easiest way to help. We can all ask “how are you” and we can all answer, “fine,” but it takes a relationship to be able to identify the truth.
There’s a lot going on in our lives and unfortunately we’re all caught up in the “stuff.” Let’s take time for ourselves so that we’re better prepared to invest in others.
Safety is more than regulatory items and checklists. Safety is people and WE ARE SAFETY!
Thanks for the share, PT!
