Are our safety messages and signage saying what we mean? Do they always make perfect sense? It’s important for us to say what we mean to say in a manner that is perceived and comprehended correctly. The sign in the picture above is a good one, just place in the wrong place or missing a few more directions like “when you stop…” or “when you get home… This sign is a safety fail – I bet it creates more texting and driving when it’s intended to help prevent the same.
Here’s a clear message – No one gets hurt on our shift today. Any questions? I think not! Let’s make ZERO happen.
