We all know our goals, but are any of them causing us to really stretch? Some of our goals should be difficult to achieve and cause us to grow individually and/or as a team. We call those stretch goals for that very obvious reason.

Our goals for safety are known: (Let’s review a few)

 

  • Avoid rushing, frustration, fatigue, and complacency.
  • Keep our eyes and minds on task.
  • Stay out of the line of fire.
  • Maintain balance, traction, and grip.
  • Be our brother’s keeper.
  • Pre-plan, communicate, and execute safely.
  • Celebrate another ZERO HARM workday.
