Top Story: West Virginia AG Backs Relaxation of EPA Coal Rule
The attorney general in West Virginia is supportive of a proposed revision easing regulations for new power plants fueled by coal. The change proposed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency revises the New Source Performance Standards adopted under former President Barack Obama. “The EPA’s proposal, at first glance, represents a more comprehensive approach to rule making and regulation, a method our office hopes will take into greater account the effectiveness and financial feasibility of new technology,” Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said.
