The Penn State Miner Training Program, in cooperation with government and industry sponsors, is hosting a seminar on January 23rd and 24th, 2019 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center—Lehigh Valley. The objective of the seminar is to enhance the safety management skills of supervisors. The seminar is an excellent opportunity for supervisory and safety support personnel to improve their safety management skills by learning about the latest approaches for enhancing health and safety in the workplace. There will be exhibits of mine health and safety-related resources and training materials. Exhibitors include government and industry vendors. This year’s program is a mix of safety management topics of timely interest. If you only attend one seminar this year, make it this one.
