Hi All.
I just wanted to announce that the National Mine Health and Safety Academy has updated the 2018 Instructor Training Workshop (ITW) schedule.
This 3-day course focuses on the Part 48 requirements and is intended to improve the instructional skills and knowledge of mine trainers. Participants will be required to develop and present a 15-minute training segment on a mining health or safety topic listed in Part 48. Please note: to become an MSHA Approved Instructor you must apply through your MSHA District Manager. Upon successful completion of this ITW class, participants will receive a certificate. A copy of the certificate should be submitted with the instructor application to the MSHA District Manager.
