Eastern Washington University located in Eastern Washington, (Cheney, Washington) is the MSHA state grants grantee for the state of Washington.

We do part 46 a and part 48 new miner and annual refresher training under the MSHA state grant program since 1980.

Our mine safety instructor has decided to leave and we need to hire a new safety instructor. A brief description follows.

Eastern Washington University Comprehensive Mine Safety and Health program (a MSHA State Grants program) is seeing a full time Mine Safety Instructor for miner training. Candidates are required to hold a current MSHA qualification for safety instruction for both surface mines and underground mines. Some travel is required in the Washington and North Idaho area to hold training courses at locations throughout this area.

If anyone is interested they can contact me and I will tell them how to apply on the universities web site.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Don
