1 dead in construction accident at Geneva Rock

DRAPER — The driver of a dump truck that fell down an embankment at Geneva Rock has died, police said.
According to Lehi Police Sgt. Bart Smith, the driver of the truck was attempting to dump dirt near the edge of a pit at 15547 Minuteman Drive when the bank way gave out, causing the truck to roll down the embankment and land on its top. Another construction worker at the scene called the police around 1:15 p.m.
According to officials, nobody else was involved in the accident.
