Every Role is Important

Whenever I’m disappointed with my spot in life, I stop and think about little Jamie Scott. Jamie was trying out for a part in the school play. His mother told me that he’d set his heart on being in it, though she feared he would not be chosen.

On the day the parts were awarded, I went with her to collect him after school. Jamie rushed up to her, eyes shining with pride and excitement.

‘Guess what, Mom,’ he shouted, and then he said seven words that will remain a lesson to me…..‘I’ve been chosen to clap and cheer.’

Take all your roles in life seriously — in everything we do there is the possibility to inspire, to influence, to make a positive differenceWhat power we have!  In Life, we all have a variety of roles to play, each one is important… even if it means sitting on the bench cheering the team on… who in life doesn’t need a little encouragement?  So go ahead, Clap and Cheer with Gusto, your team members are counting on you!!!

Have a Super Weekend, I know I will!

Leadership is not about titles, positions or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another. John C. Maxwell
