Safety and Health Talks: New Hearing Aid Design

Hearing loss happens to a lot of people. In this country, it’s the third most common chronic condition among older Americans, after hypertension (high blood pressure) and arthritis.

But among mining personnel, you don’t even have to be “older” to have hearing loss. Many of our people wear hearing aids before their time.
