Team/Friends –
I received this today from a friend of mine SH who actually worked this wreck. It’s moving and serves as yet another GREAT reminder to avoid distractions.
Please review and share throughout your circles of influence.
Special thanks to SH for allowing me to share this lesson.
Sometimes, you spend your Saturday afternoon working by the numbers:
10 – Occupants of the vehicles
9 – Injured people
8 – Transported by ambulance
7 – Patients with visible injuries
6 – Fire Department vehicles on scene
5 – Patients on backboards
4 – Ambulances required
3 – Vehicles involved
2 – Occupants had to be extricated using the “Jaws of Life”
1 – Distracted driver
The people involved in this collision were very fortunate that no one was fatally injured. Let this be a reminder: when you are driving…drive. Everything else can wait.
Thanks for the share, PT!
