Each year, 3 million seniors are sent to the emergency room for injuries caused by falls.
Falls are the leading cause of fatal injury and the most common cause of nonfatal trauma-related hospital admissions among older adults. But unlike many other issues with aging, falling is almost always preventable.

Falls don’t have to be inevitable as you age. You can reduce your chance of falling or help a loved one prevent falls. This Fall Prevention Week we’d like to provide you with five tips on how to prevent falls in your home.
