Team –
Have we ever been stressed? Have we lost something or perhaps even been lost ourselves? Are we calm when things aren’t going our way? My answers would be YES, YES, and NO and I’m thinking most would probably agree or at least can relate. I’d like to say there’s a fix for that, but if there were such a fix, I think I’d be the first in trying to use it up. The fact is, we live in difficult times and we all face difficult decisions, activities, exposures, and people all the time. We just have to become the very best individual we can in order to help keep the peace and the calm in our lives.
It’s the perfect safety lesson really; we have a situation, condition, or hazard – then we have the opportunity to freak out or to remain calm and work through it. (usually including others in the solution) When an incident or injury occurs (regardless of severity) it changes things for the worst. Sure we’ll recover, but in those moments of pain and discomfort we won’t experience the quality of life we deserve or desire.
Let’s be safe on purpose today – Accept Nothing Less!
Thanks for the share PT!
