Today’s blurb is about influence. Believe it or not, it’s far more powerful than position and more effective than discipline. Influence enables us to educate, administrate, and lead like we’ve never led before. Being a safety champion/safety leader requires this same influence to move that proverbial needle. We have a very diverse team and within those groups our influence can and perhaps will make all the difference necessary to rally around our common safety goals. (It’s not just about safety either).
Let’s listen enough to understand. Once we understand, let’s ACT with empathy and influence toward a more safe today. By the way, today is our next opportunity for excellence.
Thanks for the share, PT!
