It’s “today” again and another great day for safety. The “now” has been on my mind a lot lately, because I keep running into people and situations where someone (including myself) puts something off for no apparent or necessary reason. With safety, WE CAN’T DO IT! We have to be on-guard 24/7/365. If we put off safety (let our guards down) we open ourselves to big problems, we increase the risk of injury, and we invite ourselves and others to error. Remember SafeStart’s critical errors for starters: EYES NOT ON TASK, MIND NOT ON TASK, BALANCE-TRACTION-GRIP, and LINE OF FIRE. These errors coupled with an injuries state lead to incidents and discomfort. And just so we know, THAT’S NOT WHAT WE’RE ABOUT!
Thanks for the share, PT!
