I’ve been reading a lot lately about OSHA’s top 10 list of violations. They really never seem to change very much which to me, is an odd thing in itself. Always at the helm is fall protection. We’d think by now, that all workers governed by OSHA would understand the associated risks around falling and refuse to work unsafe, right? Apparently, not so much! If we teach our teams to identify more hazards shouldn’t it be safe to think that we’d reduce the number of associated citations and even prevent all associated injuries?
It’s all our jobs to recognize the hazards, understand the defense, and to work correctly and in time to prevent incident. It’s NOT just mine, yours, or the company’s job; IT’S ALL OUR JOB TO BE SAFE!
Doing the right thing begins with recognition and ends with action; so let’s do it today for a big ZERO. By the way, THANKS!
Thanks for the share, PT!
