Poster: TWO OPTIONS!

What’s holding us back? Why aren’t we achieving our goals or why aren’t we doing whatever it is that we want to be doing? It’s actually quite simple, it’s our fault! I rarely talk about faults, because it often makes people become defensive, but hear me out. There are two options: make progress toward the would be goal or make excuses – it really is that simple! If it’s losing weight, running a 5K, working injury-free, becoming world-class, producing quality products, being a better father, husband, wife, or friend – MAKE SOME PROGRESS TOWARD THE GOAL. It doesn’t have to happen today or right now; however, right now is the time to take that first, second, or third step.

That’s how it is with our safety performance as well. We have to start somewhere and our somewhere is right here in the now. Our actions today move us that tiny bit closer toward our goal. Just so we never forget, ZERO is the goal and by the way, it won’t always be easy and we’ll fall short on occasion and that’s where our real strength kicks in. Get up, dust off, and keep moving, because our journey continues.

Thanks for reading along and in advance for today’s safe actions and attitudes!

Thanks for the share, PT!
