Are we ever guilty of tunnel vision? I’d personally like to say “NO” to that question, but I fell victim to it a few hours ago. I was walking down the hall in my hotel and began focusing on the door badge reader and not on the two steps in front of the door. Easy to see, been walking up them all week, but just got stuck looking passed them this time. I didn’t fall, but a near-miss reminder nonetheless.
Focus is good; however, tunnel vision prevents us from being the very safest we can be.
Thanks for making safety the most important thing we do every day!
Thanks to PT and JL for the share!
