We can’t let our guards down – period! Literally or figuratively; we need to remain on guard during each and every task regardless of how simple or routine it may be. “Consistent hard work leads to success” is what caught my eye in the quote above while reading yesterday. I think I’d Thurberize it by saying ‘consistent and safe hard work leads to success;’ because, if we hurt ourselves or someone in the process, we can’t really consider that successful. By the way, a little hurt is still hurt.
We have to take ownership in the task (work or home) and commit to completing it safely. Safe must remain our focus and expectation – accept nothing less!
