Aren’t we a silly people? So much slang in our world, some of which is just plain funny. We all communicate differently about different things; however, we all need to be doing similar things when it comes to our personal safety and health. Much like various other things, when it comes to safety and health – it’s all about the results. As we know, a good plan is important, management commitment and team member involvement, worksite analysis, hazard identification and control, and lest we forget training.
That’s an awesome safety plan; however, it’s all for naught if we don’t have action from all involved. It only takes a second or less to cause a full system failure. That’s where we come in and need to hold ourselves and each other to the plan. We (each of us included) are the plan!
Let’s get busy with some safety today!
