By now, everyone should know that I’m a huge fan of story-telling; especially when they are related to safety. Telling or sharing our stories might just be the message someone is needing to hear. We all error, in fact even more simply stated, “WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES.” Now I’m not condoning the practice, just admitting a fact that once understood could very well increase the number of stories being told.
When we error – TALK ABOUT IT! When mistakes occur, even if they’ll embarrass us a little – TELL THE STORY! What’s done is done and the most we can make out of a past experience is a preventative tool. A tool that might just be the difference maker between someone and a similar (or perhaps worse) event/incident.
Let’s tell our stories today – loud and proud for a safer tomorrow!
Thanks for the share, PT!
