Poster: Save Our Back

Ergonomic related sprains and strains used to top the charts for workplace injuries regardless of profession or industry; however, for some industries they’ve lost their top spot. Regardless of where they fall, they still occur and if there are more than zero – IT’S TOO MANY!

Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and reaching create the lion’s share of the musculoskeletal injuries, most of which can be prevented with AWARENESS & ACTION. Know the weight of the object, position it and your body properly, lift correctly, and like every other safety related task, ASK IF WE DON’T KNOW. (a.k.a. get some help)

Let’s commit this week to doing the right things on purpose. Let’s make our safety our own. Let’s make the choice to be safe and not wait on chance. Let’s above all else – remember that we don’t have to go it alone and that WE’RE IN IT TOGETHER!

Thanks for the share, PT!
