Phrases like it is what it is or we call it like we see it are going away these days. Some are afraid of saying the wrong things; while others just don’t care enough to get involved. The fact is, the truth hurts sometimes and believe it or not, IT’S STILL THE BEST POLICY!
Sometimes being the safety guy (all of us at one time or another) leaves us feeling like we’re on an island, we’re swimming upstream, or we’re battling to even catch our breath; however, in the end it all proves worth it when teammates, friends, and family remain safe. ZERO HARM OCCURS! No big parties, cards, or notice; just the inner-felt joy of knowing we made a difference.
Let’s make safety intentional!
