Our good friend HM sent me this pic the other day after she had found it in her daughter’s locker room at school. We’ve talked about the quote before; however, hopefully this colorful masterpiece might just make a few of our walls as well. I know a lot of us print the blurb pictures to share on occasion. THANKS FOR THE PICTURE HM! The quote pretty much speaks for itself, but I’m going to give it a little safety-twist. (Imagine that?!?)
Once we’re made aware of a hazardous condition such as, but not limited to: noise, air contaminants, points of operation, uneven floors, pinch or nip points, floor holes, and/or literally hundreds of others regardless of our industry or whether we’re at work at all. These hazards and associated hazardous conditions exist even in our homes. Sure, some homes more than others, but they are NOT limited to a work site.
With the above quote in mind, let’s protect ourselves because it’s the right thing to do. With AWARENESS comes ACCOUNTABILITY and just as Mr. Penn states above, WRONG IS WRONG and RIGHT IS RIGHT. Protecting ourselves from known hazards is a right thing.
Today is our next opportunity!
Thanks for the share, PT!
