Team –
Being our best requires us to recognize, understand, and act correctly in every situation and I’m not just talking about safety either. We should all want and work toward being our best at home and work. As leaders (we’re all safety leaders) we’re responsible for creating the environment that supports everyone’s best. Our best begins with hazard recognition; it’s probably the most necessary skill we have to develop and use daily. It’s starts the moment we open our eyes and requires continuous usage throughout all our activities.
Safety awareness is the key to hazard recognition. A hazard is only a hazard when we recognize it as such.
Our safety is up to us! We are responsible for ourselves first – and then for the others around us. Let’s own it and seek to be the leaders that create the right environment for safety excellence today.
Thanks for the share PT!
