Our good friend HM shared this quote with me yesterday afternoon and I knew right away it was perfect to blurb about. Regardless of what we’re talking about – it fits! Quitting is RARELY if EVER the answer; that’s my nice way of saying NEVER. She might have been talking weight loss, but the power in those simple 10 words is incredible. Recognize that all good things come to those who wait; sure some faster than others, but never to the quitter.
That’s how it is with our safety as well. Press on toward the prize of ZERO injuries. Sure they’ll be set-backs and difficulties and it won’t always come as fast as we’d like, but take one task at a time, one day at a time, and repeat the actions.
We need 100% safe actions from 100% of team – seems simple right? Let’s make today a safe action kind of day.
