Friends,
I had the opportunity to briefly discuss emergency action plans yesterday and it sure was fun. Do we have one in our homes, community centers, businesses, and churches? Do we have a plan/vision for what we’d do in the case of an emergency? We know what happens in the absence of a vision. (YIKES!) The first step is to consider the task or event and make a plan. Then, discuss/train to the plan. Lastly follow up and make certain everyone understood the training and remains ready to work it.

Preparing for safety isn’t always glamourous of fun, but it’s necessary. Everyone loves it when a plan comes together!
