Poster: Phones

We are so caught up in/on social media sometimes aren’t we? It’s kind of crazy if we think about it. For example, I took an Uber yesterday to the Houston airport and during that 35 minute ride in traffic I counted nearly 100 drivers actively texting when driving. I also noted 4 wrecks along the interstate and couldn’t help but wonder if texting was the root cause of any or all of them?

Social media and texts can wait. There is no message or post so important that we should wreck our vehicles or change our lives to send and/or receive. We’ve said it before – our safety requires our attention and WHEN WE FAIL IT – IT FAILS US!

Today is a new day – a new day for safety 24/7/365!

Thanks for the share, PT!
