Are we patient people? I think as a society we are not. We want what we want and we want it now. Patience is a critical part of safety though, in that we have to be willing to slow down and perhaps even stop when changes occur. These changes could be to the plan, expectations, position, or anything else for that matter. Patience really is a form of action. Sure we don’t want to wait too long, but a little waiting every now and again might just prevent an incident and/or injury.
Sometimes it’s good to just “be still” and take in the situation, moment, or happening. Let’s all agree to work on our patience today.
Thanks for the share, PT!
