A pandemic is a disease epidemic that has spread across a large region. The COVID-19 is being considered as such for its global and uncontrolled impact.
For now, we have to remain in the prevention mode and do our part to prevent its spreading in our immediate circles. If we think we might have been exposed or are demonstrating the signs and symptoms we need to self-quarantine and minimize our contact with all people until we can be tested.
Information is changing and improving daily. KEEP ILLNESS AWARE! Let’s make certain we’re erring to the side of caution until we can get a grip or control on this in our country.
NOTE: Placing ourselves (or being placed) into self-quarantine is not a weakness or anything to be ashamed of. It takes courage to take ourselves out of the population to protect others.
Thanks for the share, PT!
