Today we’ll finish the 4th all-important word found on the bottom edge of our challenge coin. The four words on the bottom edge of the coin are TRUST, FAMILY, TEAMWORK, and OPEN COMMUNICATION; all of which demonstrate both why and how we “LIVE OUR CULTURE”. The 4th word (or phrase) as mentioned in the previous sentence, is Open Communication. Whether it’s business, personal, or safety – we have to communicate and for the best results, we have to communicate openly and honestly throughout both the good and bad. Let’s all remember that communication requires not only listening, but also hearing. Our opinions, ideas, and feedback matters and it’s awesome for both the giver and receiver.
Our safety efforts are a beautiful thing as well. Today, let’s work on listening for understanding and not merely for response. Also, let’s find a hazard and eliminate it! If we all find one, we’ll make a huge preventative difference in our areas.
