Friends,
Today I’m talking to myself – only publicly. 😊 I tend to be quick to react and even though it’s been something I’ve recognized and been actively working on; it remains on my list of do-betters. Listening for understanding and not for response is also a part of this practice as well. Reacting to everything creates fatigue and we all know that fatigue is one of the very few conditions that can lead us to incident and injury. So, let’s (present company included) observe and learn instead of react and respond.
That’s a life and safety lesson all rolled into one. Remember, the more we know and understand – the safer we can become and just like the hokey pokey says, “that’s what it’s all about”.
Thanks for reading. Have a great today.
Thanks for the share PT!
