Poster: More About Falls

How high is too high? The truth is, we could get injured or perhaps even die from a same level fall; however, it’s certainly not as likely as from greater heights. The best thing to remember is that WE DON’T WANT TO FALL AT ALL! To prevent falls we have to guard ourselves against slips and trips as well as unguarded edges. It seems so easy; however, people continue to die daily as a result of failed guarding and non-compliance.

HOW CAN WE PREVENT THE NEXT, NEXT, AND NEXT FALLS? Recognize uneven, unguarded, slippery, and dimly lit areas/walkways as well as use ladders, fall protection, and scaffolding correctly EVERY TIME!

We’ve all heard that SAFETY DOESN’T HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT – It actually requires our full and undivided attention and action.

Thanks for the share, PT!
