This share comes from our teammate FS. FS sends this impactful meme as a reminder of the brutality that exists around failing lock-out/try-out. He found this picture on the internet and figured it might help “bring it home” to us.  He is spot-on!

LOTO, Confined Spaces, Railroads, Fall Protection, Mobile Equipment, and Cranes can’t tell the difference in operator knowledge or operator ignorance. They just do their thing and rely on us – the operator, the mechanic, and/or the exposed/entrant to ENSURE our own safety through understanding. We have to ask the “what-ifs and whys” in order to sustain ZERO personally and as a team.

It can happen to us – It can happen to us – It can happen to us!  Make no mistake about it – IT CAN HAPPEN TO US, unless we PREVENT/ELIMINATE the hazard(s).
