Poster: Leadership

There are so many truths in the picture noted above, so please read through them. I want to focus and relate two of them to safety this morning.

  1. Says “WE” instead of “I” – this is critical as we lead in safety, because we can’t do it alone. Safety requires an individual effort; however, it’s truly a team activity.
  2. “Gives Credit” instead of “takes credit” – Everyone knows who’s ultimately responsible for everything that goes on, but giving credit where credit is due fuels excitement and enthusiasm; both of which are contagious to our safety culture.

Safety is one of the few things we all agree upon.

IT’S NOT DONE UNTIL IT’S DONE SAFELY! – Today is our next opportunity.

Thanks for the share, PT and JL!
