We are always getting better because we’re open to different perspectives. We cannot expect improvement when we’re stuck in the moment doing only what we’ve done in the past. There are so many opportunities for us when we’re willing to offer our opinions as well as when we’re willing to listen to the opinions of others.
The same goes for safety – we can only get better when we’re willing to do things differently on occasion. Listening to others helps us find ways to improve. Our continued safety excellence requires fresh ideas and our total team engagement.
