Leaders empower others! As safety leaders we’re called to help others find their way and NOT to make their way for them. Empowering occurs through, training and education, providing the right tools, setting the expectation, communicating clearly and consistently, and following up with feedback. Empowerment is a beautiful thing when our teams, families, schools, or communities demonstrate it through actions. Our result when we are truly safety champions is ZERO INJURIES. Make no mistake about it – we can work injury-free! ABOVE ALL ELSE – BE SAFE!
