What are we doing to help others? I know I talk about this often because it stays on my mind all the time. We can’t just go through life with blinders on. It’s the exact same thing with safety, we have to concern ourselves with other’s “lack of concern” in relation to hazards. If we see a hazard we can’t just pass it by. In the same, if we see someone demonstrating a hazardous behavior – what do we do? Do we talk about them or do we talk to them? The most truthful answer is probably a little of both.
My wife and kids say “here comes a blurb,” but the fact is; we should be fixing it and then talking about it to help others take a quick second to relate. Our stories and experiences have power in them – power that can change lives for the better IF or WHEN we’re willing to share them.
Let’s commit to finding at least one person today to share safety with. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the share, PT!
