The heat is on and we all know what can happen if we don’t take care of ourselves and each other. Know the symptoms in order to get folks some help. Remember, the time to prevent heat related incidents is BEFORE they show their ugly head. We can’t talk about this too often, notice the “stay hydrated” section as well. It reads, “AVOID SUGARY, CAFFEINATED and ALCOHIC DRINKS.”
Preventing heat related emergencies should be on all our minds; don’t let cloud coverage, a cool breeze, or some short rain showers fool us. The heat is on and we need to be aware and alert to prevent all associated risks.
Today’s a good day for safety!
Thanks for the share, PT!
