Hazards are everywhere and the minute we quit looking they’ll poke us right near the eye. This is Lucas, the eldest of my two precious grandsons. He was recently given the little flag in the picture and needless to say was pretty cute waiving for all people to see. Nobody really imagining (recognizing) the smooth tip of the flag pole as a hazard. As you’d imagine, we’re thankful it didn’t get him in the eye, but we failed to see the potential and/or risk in time to prevent the injury all together.
I’ll be glad to tell you the whole story just let me know if interested, but for the sake of this blurb, HAZARDS DON’T ALWAYS LOOK LIKE LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS! They can be seemingly silly and/or simple things both on and off the job. Be on the look-out today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
