Today’s picture is of a very good friend and mentor of mine from old. I hijacked the picture from one of his social accounts. He’s MP and a great man of Faith and even in the midst of some really difficult times with personal and family illness, he continues to stay optimistic and supportive, as well as continues pouring himself into young men and their development.
I say all of that to challenge us personally as safety champions. Let’s not let current circumstances keep us down. Let’s consider our hardship a gift! Let’s commit to sharing our stories so that everyone around us reap the benefit of our experiences. Let’s pour ourselves into other teammates, our family, and our church and community youth. Be a big brother or sister, become a foster parent, or consider serving through a local Red Cross event or shelter.
When we say, “we’re in this together,” we mean WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER! Let’s live safety today!
Thanks for the share, PT!
