Falls continue to be in the top 10 causations of death and serious physical injury. (picture from the internet – origin unknown) When working from heights we have to make certain we’re tied off; not because we’re expecting to fall, but because the potential exists and we need to be ready. We also need to have the right tools for the job.
Just like wearing our seatbelts; we’re preparing ourselves for the unexpected; thankfully we don’t need them often, but we wear them for the rare case where we do.
By the way, if something looks wrong, feels wrong, and smells wrong; IT’S PROBABLY WRONG! Stop what we’re doing and talk it through – There’s life-changing power in our STOP WORK AUTHORITY!
Thanks for the share, PT!
