Are we empathic? Some of us are definitely more so than others, but it’s an important characteristic to consider. It’s one of those traits that help us work as a team. We’ve all heard “there’s no I in team”, but there really are a lot of I’s and the goal is to take all those individual personalities, problems, and talents – mix them together and through a synergy make them better than before. One key component of team is empathy.
As for safety, people matter! What we’re going through it not always easy to talk about. Our ability to connect, listen, understand, and love remains the key ingredients to a successful safety program.
